Like most street driven cars, the new 2010 Camaro suffers from chassis flex. Under hard cornering and when driving over uneven surfaces the unsupported strut towers momentarily distort, reducing stability and control. The new Chassis Max Strut Tower Brace from Hotchkis Performance adds necessary rigidity to the Camaro by eliminating strut tower flex.

The Chassis Max Strut Brace ties the strut towers together at four mounting points, offering maximum support in tension, compression and twist. How does the geometry corrected arm work?

The a-arm pivot bracket we provide is part of our solution for reducing bumpsteer.  The stock upper a-arm configuration has such a steep inner pivot angle.  This causes the caster to change rapidly as the suspension travels up & down causing excessive spindle geometry-point movement.  Our new pivot location reduces this caster change and allows the upper, lower and steering arms to translate more harmoniously throughout its travel.  This change in conjunction with our steering tie rods help minimize unwanted bumpsteer.

In addition, the upper arms themselves have more negative camber and more positive caster built into them to maximize tire contact patch while cornering.

 Improve the ride quality and control of your 1967-72 2wd C-10 pickup with a pair of Hotchkis Tuned / Bilstein shocks. The shocks feature patented digressive valving which allows our engineers independent tuning of the compression and rebound damping forces to provide optimum ride comfort and performance without compromise. Competition Camber Plates for 2.5" diameter coils
The biggest problem with a strut type front suspension is the lack of camber gain. What is camber gain? Camber gain refers to how much negative camber is increased during the suspension's bump travel. When cornering around a turn, the vehicle will roll causing the outside wheels to tip over in the same direction. This situation is causes the tire's contact patch to lose traction with the ground resulting in understeer or push. On double wishbone suspensions, camber gain allows the suspension to have more negative camber during these rolling conditions, thereby planting the tire contact patch square to the ground resulting in increased traction.
A strut type suspension has little to no camber gain. As the suspension travels upward the camber angle stays the same. One way to counteract this problem is to induce more static camber. Static camber refers to the camber angle at static ride height. By adding more negative camber to the suspension you can optimize the tire grip for any type of rolling conditions.

Two-position adjustable, this tubular front bar is perfect for those who want to dramatically decrease front roll while at the same time, transforming the initial steering input from fairly vague to very precise.
